What is Plant-based Law?  What is a Plant-based Lawyer?

The short version is that both are works in progress that are unfolding right here. Call me Kent. I am a litigator in a small NYC law firm - Lifflander & Reich LLP. Thanks to my lovely wife Kate, I have been eating a plant-based diet for about four years. Almost immediately, I became a more focused, energetic person and, I believe, a "better attorney!" During these past four years, I became increasingly interested in researching the benefits of a plant-based diet and my research shows the benefits are vast. I am convinced that not only is a plant-based diet the healthiest diet for each and every individual on our planet (science backs me up here) but that it is also the healthiest diet for our planet (science backs me up here too). I am not alone in this realization. Plant-based items are now promoted at our grocery stores, plant-based restaurants are popping up all over (or at least plant-based offerings on menus), there are more plant-based blogs and apps available than ever before....and one of the best athletes on our planet, Serena Williams, is now plant-fueled. We are witnessing the beginning of our future as a healthier, more plant-based eating world! The dairy and meat industries have long had lobbyists in their corner. It's time that "healthy plant-based eating" had more advocates! I am offering my legal services to anyone who might find a need for them - whether it be a plant-based issue, business or contract - or if you're simply a person with a legal issue that also happens to share my values. I am not a lobbyist, however, I am litigator so I am pretty good at finding, fleshing out and presenting evidence, and helping people see the truth!
